Make a grand entrance at your wedding or other special event in a horse-drawn carriage from Elysian Fields Farm Horse & Carriage.
Our majestic but gentle 17 hand black Percheron mare Dixie, and our stunning white vis-a-vis carriage with deep emerald green interior will help create memories for your special day you will treasure forever.
Nothing evokes the charm and elegance of yesteryear or the majesty of a royal event like a horse-drawn carriage.
We have several package options from which to choose. Surely there is one that will make your dreams come true.
We will travel up to 150 miles from Clinton, Louisiana to give your event that special touch of class that will leave you feeling like a princess or allow you to create your own fairy tale experience.
Weddings, parties, parades or other special occasions are made much more memorable when you have a horse-drawn carriage awaiting you.
We spare no attention to detail when preparing our horse and carriage for your event. Our professional driver and footman provide you with an experience that is comfortable, enjoyable and safe.
The driver and footman are formally attired and wear top hats. Our horse is gentle, well-behaved and professionally trained to respond to our driver's every cue.
Horse-drawn carriage packages offer several options, so one is bound to be right for your event. Because Dixie is a black Percheron, her color does not compete with the bride's dress for everyone's attention. Of course, we groom and prepare her to perfection. If you choose either our Premier or Ultra package, Dixie is also braided and "dressed" with mane roll, standards, or rosebuds, and a tail bow.
If you choose our basic package, you are still free to decorate our carriage with flowers of your choosing as long as you get prior approval, but Dixie will not be braided or wear any flowers.
Please let Elysian Fields Farm Horse & Carriage help you make your wedding day wonderful and memorable. Profits after expenses are used to provide a lifetime home for eight older horses who faced uncertain futures until they came to the farm.
Remember, nothing makes an entrance grander than arrving by horse-drawn carriage- TM
