The Alan Gresik Swing Shift Orchestra performs the jumping, swinging music of the 30s & 40s -- and can combine it with contemporary music (classic rock, Motown, Sinatra, etc.) -- for a Big Band sound and classic Chicago feel.
The band has performed in the MGM movie "Return to Me," on national TV and at such events as the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts' Midsummer Night Swing Series and Taste of Chicago. WGN TV called the band "Great!" and WTTW TV's Ben Hollis said: "You've got to see this band." Tens of thousands have. Every Thursday night since 1998, the band had packed Chicago's historic Green Mill jazz lounge with its unique old-time radio show, which mixes music with comedic dialogue for a show unlike anything else in Chicago.
The band can vary its size from 10-15 pieces and can travel anywhere in the U.S. For more information and pricing information, visit our website.
