The Signature String Quartet was formed in 2004 and has provided musical elegance for events throughout all of West Michigan. The members of the quartet have a combined total of over 40 years of quartet and orchestral playing including frequent performances with the West Shore Symphony in Muskegon. Each member also possesses an undergraduate or graduate degree in music as well as numerous years of private teaching and orchestra instruction in the public schools. We have played for many weddings, receptions, and other events at venues including Frederick Meijer Gardens, Beaner's/Biggby Coffee, Devos Convention Center, Centennial Country Club, Noto’s Banquet Facility, Kuyper College, Mocha-n-Music, the Symphony Series at the Grand Rapids Art Museum and a recording session with the Grand Rapids Women’s Chorus. Our repertoire includes classical standards, traditional wedding selections, and popular favorites including jazz, ragtime, tangos, and holiday music.
