Affetuoso String Quartet is a ensemble comprised of experienced, symphony string musicians, a pianist, a flautist, professional vocalists, and trumpet player from the Fox Valley. Affetuoso String Quartet has been performing together since 2003, and before that, members performed in various other string quartets and chamber ensembles.
Affetuoso members have been hired as soloists, a duet, trio, quartet and even larger ensembles. We pride ourselves on being professional, flexible, and adaptable to your needs. Weddings can be very expensive, so we have come up with ways to save our clients some money by providing a pianist for free with most ensembles, and often we can even provide a vocalist for free.
String quartet music is an obvious and elegant choice for ceremony music, but with our deeply discounted rates after the first hour, clients often hire us to play for the cocktail hour and dinner.
We have a variety of music to suit any tastes -- classical, pop, contemporary, jazz, country and some rock. If you have something special in mind that we don't have, we can custom write out the music of your dreams.
Pricing is competitive and fair, and is based on the number of musicians you want and how many hours you want them to play.
