Trio Three-Eighty is an instrumental ensemble with a very diverse and eclectic repertoire spanning decades.
What makes the group unique is their onstage energy and arrangements of songs from such artists and composers as Cole Porter, Sinatra and the Beatles, to Sting, Jason Mraz and Andrew Lloyd-Webber. While the core ensemble is the trio, in many performances Valley-wide additional instruments (guitar, percussion, keyboards, saxophone) augment the group.
Trio Three-Eighty has been in existence for over ten years, playing for numerous venues, concerts and events around the Phoenix-area, including three long-time regular appearances: Casino Arizona at Salt River (8 years), Nordstrom at Scottsdale Fashion Square (10 years), and Mayo Clinic’s Humanities in Medicine concert series (ongoing since 1999), earning a solid reputation as a top quality and in-demand instrumental performing group. Trio Three-Eighty recorded two nationally released CDs for the Pure & Simple Music record label, Invitation to Dance and A Black & White Affair. Carol Wright of Barnes & Noble.com wrote in her review of the latter, “With playing as good-humored and engaging as this, I'd go hear Palalay and friends play anytime.”
