About the performer:
Heather Batey holds a Master's degree in vocal performance from the University of Mississippi. She currently teaches private studio voice and piano, and is an accomplished performer. Heather has appeared with Opera Birmingham for many seasons, and has been a soloist with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, Birmingham Concert Chorale, the Lee Scott Singers, and Over the Mountain Festivals. She also appears regularly as a solo recitalist.
