The Center at Cathedral Plaza is a full service Event site located in a convenient downtown location, adjacent to the new landmark Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. The Cathedral is the largest Catholic Cathedral in the United States featuring world-renowned art and architecture. We offer a wide variety of options to service your wedding reception needs.
The Center is also available for rental to clients who are not having their ceremony at the Cathedral but would like to experience the beauty of the spacious grounds and the amenities of the location.
The Cathedral Ballroom located on the upper level measures 8,900 square feet. It can seat 600 guests banquet style and can also be easily divided into half for smaller receptions. The pre-function Viewing Foyer located outside the ballroom can comfortably seat 120 for dinner or 250 for a cocktail reception. This is a lovely spot to begin the evening overlooking the majestic Plaza. A patio is located directly outside the viewing foyer, the perfect spot for your guests to step outside and enjoy the evening air. You may also consider a reception in the shadow of the majestic new Cathedral where you are able to relax and dine under the stars. The European-style Plaza can seat up to 2,000 at rounds and accommodate 4,000 for a reception. Sections of the Plaza are easily utilized for a smaller group who wishes to dine alfresco.
