My business, Receptions by Valerie Young, is a service that provides a unique low-cost option for decorating weddings indoors without necessitating the bride or any of the wedding party to lift a finger. When I planned my own wedding, financing came from my own bare pockets, so I reluctantly scheduled a church instead of the upscale reception center I always dreamed of. I reviewed pictures from scads of decorators near and far, but I couldn't find anything that fit my tastes. I considered renting various props from multilple services around the valley, borrowing lights and planters from all of my neighbors, and making some costly purchases for the cause. But even still, I wasn't happy with any of those choices. Then I was directed toward the woman who took care of it all for me for a super low price. I fell in love with her backdrop and other decor, and the rest is history. I created my own unique backdrop to do the same for other brides out there who need just one more option to fall in love with. AND I was able to engineer it effectively enough that I could cut down on costs so I could charge an affordable price and pass the savings on to other brides to be.
My business was made for budget brides. I designed everything in my repetoire to fit in my trailer so it's ready to go, and I don't have to pass on charges from warehouse space and extra labor. I don't feel the need to offer more backdrop choices because I am catering to those who like what I already have, and I'm offering them the best price for what they love.

If your wedding or reception isn't in Salt Lake City, or even Salt Lake county, don't worry! We service the Wasatch Front and beyond. Anything farther than 30 miles from our Salt Lake zip code 84105 may be subject to a travel fee, but this is the only possible extra cost to your package. So far, we have booked our wedding decorations package to brides as far north as Ogden and as far south as Salina. We've gone west to Erda and east to Evanston, WY. And we're ready to farther depending on circumstances.
