All you need is a wedding gown, rings and wedding license to marry at Blue Skies Inn. Our all-inclusive wedding package is called A Pikes Peak Wedding, named for the beautiful mountain where we are located.
First, you'll book a two night stay at our romantic inn, then choose one of our all-inclusive wedding packages. Features include ceremony site, a wedding officiant, pretty bridal bouquet, wedding cake and extensive photo package. Also included are set-up, tables, chairs, linens, champagne flutes and glass plates.
Favorite suites for romantic wedding stays are Blue Skies, Morning Glory and Sunset, all with whirlpool tubs and fireplaces. A full hot breakfast, delivered as room service, may be enjoyed in your own private sitting room.
For an outdoor ceremony, you may book our Waterfall Garden with wedding tent surrounded by flowers. Our shady Woodland Garden is surrounded by stately oaks and is tucked into the edge of the woods. Sometimes a deer may wander by or a hummingbird may visit nearby flowers. Winter weddings may be held indoors by a cozy fireplace while some brides choose to wed in the snow. Our historic 1873 Carriage House has just been lovingly restored and is now a wedding chapel that will seat 60 guests.
The bride may choose flowers and colors for her bouquet and a matching boutonniere for the groom.
A scrumptious wedding cake will be decorated with fresh flowers to match the bride's bouquet. You may choose flavors and fillings, too!
Wedding photos are taken during the ceremony and afterwards at streamside with a bed of rose petals underfoot. Your photos of Pikes Peak in the background will remind you forever of your wedding in Colorado mountains. At the end of the day, you will be given your negatives and a CD so that you may make as many reprints and enlargements as you wish. We shoot about 200 photos and the quantity increases with the number of your guests.
Within several days of your ceremony, we will post photos of you on our Pikes Peak Wedding website. It's fun to send an email to friends inviting them to pull up the website to see what you've done over the weekend. Friends and relatives from far and near who weren't able to attend will delight in seeing your wedding online.
