Heard-Craig Hall is an elegant location with crystal chandeliers, columns and a main reception hall crowned with a 144 sq. ft. art glass skylight. The Hall regularly hosts art exhibits, theatrical productions, weddings, receptions, business meetings, dinner parties, concerts and dance programs. The main reception hall can seat 350 guests theatre style or 250 at tables.
The Heard-Craig Hall Gallery is a lovely reception room located on the lower level of Heard-Craig Hall. The Gallery can seat up to 100 guests and is adorned with vintage photographs. It is a unique location for parties, receptions, and business meetings.
The Heard Craig Carriage House is a beautiful historical location to host a small wedding, bridal shower, baby shower and special parties.
Katie's Garden was created as a tribute to Kathryn Heard-Craig who loved spending time in her garden. It is an enchanting location for weddings with up to 300 guests. The garden is graced with a Victorian bower, wedding gazebo, fountains, garden ornaments and a "secret" garden.
Photographers must make appointments to use Katie's Garden for commercial shoots. Appointments are subject to availability and there is a $25 photographer’s fee for a one hour shoot in the Garden. To set an appointment, please call our office at 972-569-6909.
We offer you many venues: a spacious auditorium that has amazing versatility, The Gallery, The Carriage House for parties or to prepare for a romantic, open air wedding in Katie’s Garden (part of the historical Heard-Craig House). Our facility is known for flexibility to accommodate multiple types of events, such as: weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, baby and wedding showers, business meetings, music recitals, dance recitals, club events and dinners, birthday and anniversary parties, concerts, theatre productions, quinceanera and Bah-mitzvahs.
