We shopped around at a lot of different local bakeries in hopes of finding just the right one. Our final decision ended up being Hot Cakes. We met with Lindsay at a neutral location (since she doesn't have a storefront). The wedding cake turned out wonderful and we were very pleased with the service she gave us!
The pricing per slice for the cake was very reasonable. We ended up paying around $3 a slice. That isn't bad when it comes to wedding cakes!
We went over our theme and the kind of flowers I wanted. The wedding cake design really fit my theme perfectly. And the wedding cake tasted wonderful. It was very moist but not so much that it was falling apart and all over our wedding clothes! Lindsay gave us our top tier for free since it would be used as our anniversary cake. She even gave us instructions on how to freeze it properly so we wouldn't get freezer burn on it!
