I have always had a love for all things sweet! Growing up with my mom baking up a storm in the kitchen I remember the sweet aroma of cakes, cookies, and pies filling the air. Those sweet smells and tastes are centered around so many wonderful memories of family holidays, birthdays, and special celebrations.
When it came time for my special day I wanted my wedding cake to be perfect. Unfortunatly, it didn’t look like what I had hoped for. I knew many other brides with similar experiences, or worse yet, that their wedding cake tasted terrible and dry. I then decided to share my love of baking and cake decorating . I took my first basic cake decorating class about a year ago. With the aid of the internet, books, magazines, and videos I have been able to learn beyond basic techniques.
I love the creative process and the look of joy on the face of the recipient. I hope you enjoy looking at my work; and maybe it will spark an idea for your next special occasion.
