Bernadette Mayer, M.D. is an internal medicine physician with admitting privileges at Resurrection Medical Center, Lutheran General Hospital, and Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center. She received her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and fulfilled her internship and residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine. She has over 20 years of broad based medical experience. She has work in Emergency Medicine, Immediate Care Centers and as a House Physician. She was physician-in-charge for an area HMO. She has received a citation for Excellence in Teaching at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, and H.E.R.O. Award at Humana Michael Reese Health Plan. She was named “American Top Physician for 2006, 2007, and 2008 by the Consumer Research Council. She is a member of the Chicago Medical Society, Illinois State Medical Society, and American College of Physicians. Dr. Mayer entered the field of Anti-Aging Medicine out of a perceived need by her patients to “feel good” on the outside as well as inside. Thru Anti-Aging Medicine, Dr. Mayer seeks to blend her love of traditional medicine with the artistic aspects of Anti-Aging and Holistic medicines.
