Hampton Inn of Groton/Mystic is ideally located midway between Boston and New York City with easy access to either I-95 S/N. Hampton Inn is the getaway to downtown Groton, home of the first nuclear powered Submarine, the USS Nautilus, just minutes away. Enjoy the convenience of either shopping or sightseeing at the Mystic Seaport, Mystic Village or Mystic Aquarium, or relax with golf, beaches or even visit the nearby Mohegan Sun and Foxwood gaming casinos. Hampton Inn has 80 rooms and is 7 years old. Majority of the rooms are double/double beds, others are king beds with 4 suites. There are 8 rooms that are smoking and are located on the fourth floor away from the two elevators. All king rooms have sofa beds and there some rooms that are connecting. All rooms have micro/refrigerators, coffee maker, iron/ironing board and hair dryer. Recently, we upgraded our mattresses to the Hampton’s Cloud Nine and currently scheduled to replace the bedroom carpets by the end of the month. There is also the complimentary hot and cold breakfast every morning and free wired & wireless internet.
The hotel has an indoor heated pool, business center complimentary to our in-house guests, ATM machine in the lobby, ice, soda & snack machines on the first floor and ice & soda machines on other three floors. The hotel also has a fitness center with a bike, treadmill and elliptical machine. On the second floor, there is an in-house guest laundry room with vending supplies available for our long term guests. There is a meeting room which is 600sq ft, ideal for small meetings.
