Steve Smith, Jeane Gadd-Smith and Ray J. Gadd are the current members of the
Steve Smith Weddings photography team. Together we are all honored to take part in a very sentimental and important day. We take our responsibility seriously while coming across in a friendly, easy-to-work-with way.
Steve Smith has earned his reputation as being a wonderful, well-seasoned photographer with a delightful personality. Steve is an artist at capturing great images and an expert at bringing concepts to life through his photography. His knowledge, artistic eye, attention to detail, extensive equipment, and capable production crew all contribute to the quality images he produces. Steve's specialty is people. His gentle, easy manner is especially effective in directing even the shyest of subjects, and makes him a pleasure to work with for all involved.
Steve spent the majority of his photographic career in the Los Angeles area where he worked in a multitude of arenas including: the entertainment industry; editorial, corporate & advertising assignment work; a presidential campaign; chief photographer for the Los Angeles Summer Olympics; as well as extensive lifestyle stock photography. His assignment work has appeared in "Time", "People" "Men’s Journal", "Fortune", "Forbes", "Business Week", "Rolling Stone", and "Life", among others. After marrying Jeane Gadd in 2004, Steve decided he wanted to spread more joy by shooting weddings.
