Cowboy UP Photos Wedding and Portrait Studios was founded by Rick Najdzion in 2000 after our move to Louisiana from New York. For the past several years, Rick has been photographing weddings and capturing creative portraits for his clients in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Florida, California and New York. Rick's studio is located just outside of New Orleans in the residential community of Old Jefferson. Rick has documented and captured heart pounding rodeo action for Professional Bull Riders as well as the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association rodeos. Although he no longers travels to photograph rodeo action, he is quite at home with documenting the wonderful celebrations and joy of marriage. His unique style and documentary approach is cherished by his satistifed couples. Rick is an active member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association, Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographers of Louisiana, Greater New Orleans Professional Photographers Guild, Southwestern Photographers Association, Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, National Association of Photoshop Professionals, Children and Family Photographers of America and The American Child Photographers Charity Guild a non-profit orginization of national photographers helping children and their families in need . In 2007, Rick was elected to the Board of Directors of the Professional Photographers of Louisiana. Rick earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from Long Island University, Southampton College and a Master of Science degree in Management of Technology from Polytechnic University, New York. Rick's goal is to provide his customers with the finest photographic artistry they can expect.
