The Vanderbilt Strings provides the best in live music for your wedding or special event. We perform as a string quartet, trio, duo or solo violin, throught Southwest Florida including Naples, Fort Myers, Marco Island and Sanibel/Captiva.
The Vanderbilt Strings serves the entire Southwest Florida area, including Naples, Fort Myers, Marco Island and Sanibel & Captiva. We are experienced in providing live music for all types of weddings, parties, anniversaries, public or private gatherings, business functions, fund raisers, seminars, dinners, church services, and many other events.
We are available as a standard string quartet ensemble (2 violins, viola, cello) or trio (violin, viola, cello), and by special arrangement as a duo (violin/viola or violin/cello) or a solo instrument. Many of our clients enjoy the fullness of a complete string quartet, while others enjoy the intimacy of a smaller number of instruments -- the choice is yours.
Musical Choices: We play well-known classical favorites, classical chamber music repertoire, popular music arrangements, Broadway selections, big-band songs, tangos, marches, etc. We can work with you to provide specific styles of music or certain selections at different times during your event, or you may leave all the details to us and we will provide a memorable and appropriate selection of music that everyone will enjoy.
The members of the Vanderbilt Strings are all professional musicians, performing with the Naples Philharmonic, Southwest Florida Symphony, and Naples Opera. With the renowned Naples Philharmonic, many of us perform over 120 concerts each season, to critical acclaim and enthusiastic audiences
