To understand why there is such a wide range of prices, it helps to appreciate the difference between off- the- peg or bridal packages and design- to –order couture wedding flowers. There are floral shops that have wedding packages that have been designed with the wedding co-coordinator at the bride’s chosen venue. They have set prices for every aspect of a wedding. This works very well for many florists and often goes hand in hand with the catering, photography, music companies and hotel or country club. Couture is where the wedding is designed to the customer’s own specification and, of course is more costly but at the same time is designed with the bride in mind. This is where the professional florist comes into their own—we have the expertise, know the trends, and can advise the bride on what will suit her personality and dress.
