Sassafras is a floral design studio located in northeast Minneapolis. We are a partnership of three women (who all happened to be named Sara(h)), committed to providing inventive designs to perfectly reflect our individual client styles and visions. We draw from our backgrounds in fine arts, floral and garden design as well as over 25 years of combined design experience to create the perfect mood for your event. Our style can range from clean and modern to lushly textured and vividly dramatic, but is always fresh and expressive. In-Studio consultations are available by appointment. How We Work
Preliminary Consultation During your preliminary consultation you’ll have a chance to view our complete portfolio as we discuss your color palette, design ideas, budget, and favorite flowers. Feel free to bring dress swatches, photos, sample invitations, anything to help us get a feel for your personal style and vision. You can also browse through our extensive references.
Secondary Consultation As your event nears, we like to touch base with you a second time to make sure all loose ends are tied. This can be as simple as a phone conversation or as extensive as an event location tour to finalize all details.
The Day of Your Event We will personally deliver and set up the arrangements to ensure that everything is in order. We are a small private studio and book limited events to ensure you receive the attention you deserve.
