The Chris King Band, formerly the Southern Cactus band, is one of the hottest country rock bands to hit the Colorado scene in years. Led by Chris King since 1999, they have been crowd pleasers for young and old alike, playing energizing shows for the Denver Country Club, The Taste of Colorado, singing the National Anthem for the Colorado Rockies 4 times, being asked to open for Diamond Rio, as well as be the kick off band for the National Western Stock Show for 5 years. The CKB was also the first country band to play in the Flat Irons Summer Concert Series in 2008. They can also play specially designed song lists for private weddings and meet with clients as often as need be to help schedule your event the way you want it and keep the reception full of excitement, or they are more than happy to just play new and old country with a touch of classic raock without saying a word.
