ORIGINAL POST:
When I got married I thought it would be a great idea to have the reception the night before I got married, so that on my wedding day I wouldn't have the stress of worrying the about the reception. So on my reception invitation I sent out I put both the date of my wedding and the date of my reception. The night of the reception came and only about half of the people showed up. The following night over a hundred people came to the church and found they have read the wrong date...

So lesson learned, if you are going to have your reception the night before you wedding, ONLY list your RECEPTION date. Other than that mistake, I really loved having the reception the night before.

I am wondering if many other couples decide to have the reception the night before you are married?
