You finally found the perfect lipstick to wear on your wedding day, but are you lips prepared to show it off? Here is an exfoliating method that will have your lips looking soft and moisturized in time for the big day. Apply a generous layer of lip balm to your lips and let it soak in for a few minutes. Then take a "soft" baby's toothbrush (a washcloth with a "nubby" texture will do)and brush your lips lightly. This will remove the dry layer of skin leaving your lips feeling soft and smooth. Use a little lip balm on the lips before applying lipstick color. Apply the lip balm before putting your makeup on (a good time is when you put your moisturizer on allowing soak in time). Right before you put your lip color on, blot off any excess balm. Use a lip pencil to prevent feathering, but blend inward with a lip brush so you don't have a harsh outline on your lips. You are now ready for your perfect lipstick color. Apply your lipstick up to your natural lip line (your natural lip line usually extends a little farther than your actual color portion of your lips). Use this exfoliating method once a week and remember to use lip balm every night before bed. Also drink plenty of water throughout the day.
