I never though of that. Do you think it would be appropriate to have an 11 year old child read a poem? I was thinking about having a poem read at my wedding reception. I thought of several ways of including various family members, but I am having a difficult time thinking of things for the younger family members to do, other than be flower girls, or take gifts.
I have one nephew who is an entertainer with a really low voice and a fun personality. I really think it would be cute to have him do a reading. My only concern is that the rest of the program is very elegant and completely done by adults, or professional entertainers. Do you think having my nephew read a poem would feel out of place?
