We want to discuss DYI projects for a minute! As a professional wedding invitation consultant, I do cringe when I hear brides indicate they want to make their own invitations. Why? Let me explain:

4. If you decide to cut your own paper, it will need to be the exact size for each invitation. Otherwise, your efforts are futile if all components don't fit nicely into the envelopes you have had to purchase.
5. Are you willing to invest in lots of time, days perhaps, cutting, printing, punching holes, gluing etc.?
