For a long time now, jewelry has played an important role in each ones life. Although bridal jewelry sets are absolutely a symbol of modern times, wedding jewelry dates back to ancient people who created them from bones, pebbles, shells, feathers and you could go on and on. In ancient times, people already used metals like copper, bronze and silver those were often set with gemstones. As time passed, gold was discovered and that indicated a new era in the industry.

Jewelry was worn as a charm or craze, for spiritual or supernatural purposes and believed to have paranormal powers. One of the most popular reasons for purchasing jewelry is for a bride to be. Bridal jewelry dates back to medieval times. Ancient Greeks used wedding sets in form of metal bands as a testimony of marriage. The ring had to be worn on 4th finger, as it was supposed that a particular vein in that finger runs into the heart. It was also believed that if the bride wore pearls on her wedding day, she would have a happy marriage.
