Claire Rebecca Presnall earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography at Washington University in St. Louis. Her love of photography, however, started much earlier when she received her first camera at the age of eight. Although her equipment has changed, her simple love of capturing life as it happens has not. Claire moved back to Atlanta in 2001 to start her own photography studio. Her main area of expertise is in photographing people. She loves photographing weddings and children. While adept at studio shooting, Claire prefers working on location as it more readily captures the spontaneity of life. In 2006, Claire and her husband, Nathan, moved to Knoxville. She continues to work in Georgia as well as middle and eastern Tennessee and travels anywhere her photography takes her. Rebecca Claire means captivating and clear. Not only is it a definition, it is a mission statement: to provide photography that is clear and captivating.
