The Casablanca Orchestra is a powerfull, well rehearsed 18 pc. Big Band. Our professionally staffed instrumentation includes piano, drums, bass, guitar, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, and 5 saxophones. To complement this instrumental ensemble, we are pleased to feature one of the top female vocalists in the area - Ms. Debbie Bennett. Her vocal stylings, reminiscent of great singers such as Ella Fitzgerald and Rosemary Clooney, and contemporaries Linda Ronstadt, Whitney Houston, and Natalie Cole, add that special touch of class to our musical presentation.
Our repertoire of over 300 songs includes many Big Band Swing, Jazz, Latin, and Blues standards from the 40's to the 90's, by such greats as Count Basie, Woody Herman, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, and contemporaries Thad Jones and Harry Connick , Jr. In addition, we feature Pop and Beach music, Rock and Roll "Oldies", and a number of our own original Big Band arrangements. This variety has enabled us to be sucessful with all audiences, both young and old.
For twenty five years, the Casablanca Orchestra's impressive sound and stage presence has delighted audiences from Governors to college students across the Southeast with performances to remember!
