Julie Hopkins established Camera Creations as a wedding and portrait photography business whose aim is to produce outstanding imagery and quality customer service. Julie combines the best of traditional wedding photography with photojournalism to obtain an elegant editorial style. She captures the essential tender moments during the wedding as well as the details that culminate in a complete picture of the wedding day.
Julie has been photographing people, places and things since 1997. She was a professional ballet dancer for thirteen years and her dance career that spanned the globe, along with a degree in art history, and a passion for art, helped to develop her discerning eye for beauty. Julie is a member in good standing of Wedding and Portrait Photographer International and Advertising Photographers of America. She also holds a certificate in photography from Santa Monica College. She is published in Dance Magazine and exhibits her dance imagery in local shows.
Studio and outdoor portrait sessions, digital photography, online proofing of images from photo shoot, black and white fine art prints, as well as large format 4x5 bridal sessions are available.
