Description

My little bride Keri chose the beautiful Plantation House for her wedding today. Her cake is a 3-tier white stacked French Vanilla cake with assorted fillings. It serves 134 (120 if she kept the top tier.) It sells for $2.50/serving. Flowers were provided by the bride--Gerbera Daisies are wonderful, but alstromerias don't work very well because they wilt quickly. A NOTE OF CAUTION: A girl emailed me this week and told me she'd gone to her sis's wedding, ate the cake (NOT OUR CAKE!!)and a STRAIGHT PIN went through her tongue! Using straight pins to attach ribbon on a cake is an unthinkable thing to do--this should be done with ICING, not pins!!! Make sure that your cake has NOTHING on it that could possibly hurt or choke anyone. I know this is just common sense, but apparently it's something that needs to be said after hearing her story.
