Chara Offset Wedding Cake

Description

Chara and Jorge were married in Vegas, and today they invited all their friends to a huge reception to celebrate their nuptials. We did a 'his and hers' matching groom's cake.This cake was another of the 'crowdpleasers'--Mexican Vanilla with a hint of lemon and almond and with Bavarian Cream filling. The cake is a three-tier and it serves 168 (or 150 if you're keeping your top tier.) Any color ribbon can be used, but Chara's was green. Grosgrain works better than satin because satin droops, stretches and darkens. The scrollwork was done in gold with gold dragees (shiny, edible beads) sparkling on each tier.
